Picture compliments of Kaori Furue.
The Bloor Jane diner is a really busy place on weekends because it serves one of the best all day breakfasts in Greater Toronto. For the unheard price of $7.00 including tax, one gets 2 eggs any style, with bacon, ham or saugages, homefries, toast and a bottomless cup of coffee. Other breakfast items include pancakes, french toast and steak and eggs. Please refer to the menu above for a complete list of items served.
PS. Be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes on weekends and holidays between the hours of 9am-2pm. The Diner's hours are 5am-4pm Monday-Friday and 5am-2pm on weekends and holidays.
Bloor Jane Restaurant is located at 2434 Bloor Street West (map) in popular and attractive Bloor West Village. That's in the west end of Toronto near the intersection of Bloor and Jane Streets. The nearest TTC subway station is Jane, which is seconds away.
Bloor Jane has been serving its clientele loyally under the same ownership for over 37 years. The Diner has been in business since the 1950s. The Diner is owned by John (Johnny) Kourogiorgas who has been in the restaurant business since he came to Canada from his native Greece in the early 60s.
